Got a Doe on opening Sat.
 

I got a shot at a doe at 3 yards on Saturday evening. At the angle I was at, I went between the lungs and wrecked the heart. She staggered and then took off and died 40 yards later. Three more deer came in after I shot her and I could have shot another doe at 20 yards, but thought better of it. That's alot of work and it's a long season.

Sorry guys, no pics on this one. In the part of MD I hunt we can kill unlimited does, so I plan to try to get a couple other does this year and save the film for the bucks. Overall, a good opening day. Anyone else from MD do well?
