The opening day jinx continues....
 

I put up a stand for my buddy to use on opener. By 8am he saw 4 deer. one buck, one that could have been a buck and a doe and fawn. The doe and fawn bedded by him. On my way into the woods to get him I kicked up the doe and fawn and they went right to my buddy. I gave a hoot hoping they would stop. They stopped 3 times. Finally the doe stopped broadside and gave him a 20 yard shot. He put one over her back.

2 years ago he hunted my honey hole on opener and he had 2 bucks within 15 yards of his stand. Blew that one too. hehe. Actually his release blew that one. the arrow went about 2 yards and landed on a stump. CLANK!!!! That night (still opener) he missed a doe (broadside) from approximately, oh, 3 yards. He blamed that one on his range finder. j/k.

He hasn't missed very many times and he's never wounded a deer so I can't give him too much crap. He's missed a few easy shots but gets the 30 yard running buck hail mary. go figure.

thats a good story sound like one of my days hehe well my season starts oct 15 and we have new tags limets this year were we can take more deer ..... well i hope i have a better year this year then last
got 2 bucks last year 6 in bow spike with gun well take care rack and good luck ......
