poundage for moose

I have a pse carroll right now it is set at 58# i was wondering if that is good enough to hunt moose, if not please tell me what i should set my bow at. I will be shooting 100 grain thunderheads out of that bow if that helps.

Good, close shot and you'd be fine even on an animal as big as a moose

Yep, you should be fine with that poundage. I guest of mine took a nice bull last year with a 60# bow, 29" draw, gold tip arrow, and a NAP Razorback head. It buried to the fletch! No problem! Just remember nothing beats a well tuned set-up. If your arrow is flying true it will deliver more energy into the animal than an arrow that is out of tune. Many people skip that part, and it is one of the most important things you can do to prepare for the hunt. Tune your equipment, and then when you are done, tune some more untill it's perfect. The animal you are hunting deserves that respect. And I strongly believe in a fixed blade head like the thunderhead you mentioned is one of the best.
Good luck on your hunt.

Yep,
You don't want to hit one of those babie's with an arrow going sideways!;)

Finally, some good ole common sense. It's certainly not how much weight you pull but the accuracy with which you can shoot that 58# that will matter the most, right along with proper tuning.

I've shot them with a 55# bow, using the 100 gr Rocket SteelHead expandables.
Good shot placement with this weight, and a sharp broadhead will get the job done.
