I've promised to keep everyone updated on what is currently available. Over the last couple of days I have had several people inquiring to what is currently available. So here goes:

9 whitetail hunts
3 Elk Hunts
2 Bear hunts
5 Fishing Trips
2 Mule Deer
2 Gator Hunts
A bunch of turkey, ducks, geese, phesant Etc.

Since 11/18/2005 a little over 3 weeks ago, we have over a hundred users, and over 40 of them have deposited trips so far!!

There are some very nice trips in the system. I would start planning 2006 hunts right now!

All I can say is WOW!!

About 200 users and growing daily! Tons of great trips from New Mexico Elk, toIllinios Whitetails, to Alligators, to Canadian bears and on and on and on................

Hey Just an update. Just a couple weeks of free exchanges left on free exchanges!

Keep in mind, you don't need to book a trip by Feb 1st, just have deposited your trip.

I agree that it would be nice to see those trips. However,the problem that exists withthat situation, is that someone with a lesser desirable trip could view alotof real nice trips, and solely deposit their trip, based on the trips they've seen. Once they deposit they're trip, they find that they can't book the one they saw and deposited for.

I'll be the first to say that the system is not perfect. It does however, offer more opportunities to users compared to traditional swaps.

Hope that helps to understand why we do it this way.

It's a great idea, but the problem is the only thing most eastern and southern bowhunters have to offer is deer..... Most hunters in the US are in those areas, so hunts for elk, mule deer, etc will be few and far between and will begobbled up quickly.

I agree that there are more trips from the Eastern US vs Western US. About 2/3 compared to 1/3.I don't think that western trips get booked any faster.

One of the things that eastern states have vs western states, is liberal seasons and over-the-counter tags. Before someone books a western trip they need to make sure they can get a tag. For instance, thereare several high value trips like New Mexico Elk, and they have not been booked.

The other factor, is that there is alot of high quality deer hunting in the eastand midwest. Illinios, Iowa, Ohio, etc. Alot of people want to go to those regions, for no other reason than the publicity thatthey have had.
