Hoyt Bows

I am thinking about buying the Vipertec, just wondering if it is a good bow?

Just sold mine about a week ago. I hunted with it for a season and I thought it was a great bow. Smooth shooting, quiet, light, and nice and short. I would recommend shooting several different bows before making a decision, but you certainly can't go wrong with anything in the Hoyt lineup.

It is a good bow, but there are alot of good bows out there. Find one that feels right to you. You can't go wrong with a Hoyt.

I agree with the others. Shoot several and if that is the one that jumps out at ya.... take her home!

Best short bow on the market, shoots like the big boys.

Jklass,

Im gonna agree with the rest of them, you HAVE to go and try the different bows. Pick what feels best in your hands!!!

EXCEPT....

Is this going to be your first bow? Are you a beginner?

The Vipertec is not going to be a very forgiving bow with a low brace height and short axle to axle.

I had two vipers, (before they went to the tec riser) and while they were super fast, and I shot them rather accurately, I would never recommend them to a beginner.

If you are a beginner, let us know, because there are some more things you should know before you make the "leap" and buy a bow.

Take care---Matt:)
