Broadhead Drifting Right??

I have been practicing for a couple of months with field tips and am shooting pretty good. However, with our opener next weekend, I decided it was time to shoot the broadhead to make sure it is consistent, which I expected to be the case. To my surprise, the arrow is drifting to the right. Not a lot, but it is noticeable. I am shooting Beman 340's with three blade muzzy's.

Any thoughts on what might cause this? Have others experience similar differences or is something out of sync on my bow?

Thanks for the helpl

I did same with new bow and t-head 100s on 300 shafts. Read a lot about moving rest and adjusting sights. I was dead on at 20 and only 2 inches right at 30 so decided that was acceptable as long as I knew how to adjust my aim. Either this or the PSE site will give you adjusting info as I read several threads recently. Good luck.

get yourself some shockwave mechanicals, they usually fly just like your target tips.

i had the same problem with muzzy's. i now use the nap 85gr. mechanicals.they fly just like my field points. you must have a fast shooting bow, because the muzzy's shoot better in the slow bows.

RE: Broadhead Drifting Right??

I don't know exactly what the deal is but I about tore my Tuff Buck up trying to tune this thing. I ended up screwing the 20 yd sight pin "in" three revolutions and I am not dead on. It wasn't that easy but that is where it ended up. Strangely, the 20 yd pin looks oddly out of line with the 30 yd pin. The 30 yd pin is much further out and to the left, but it seems to shoot well. Seems to me they should be more in line, what do you think?

By the way, if my bow was properly tuned, shouldn't I be shooting field points and broadheads in the same hole or not?
