For the price, I gotta try it out. Initial impressions are that it's a nice camera, especially for the money. The option of using the rechargeable 6v latern battery and solar panel is what sold me on it. I've seen pics and they ain't bad either.

I want to get one so bad and take pics of elk in the wallows. I hunt on public property and always worry about it being stolen. That is the reason I have yet to buy one. Maybe when they come down in cost for a digital, I'll buy one then.

I 've had mine 2 months now and love it. Mounting can be a pain, try a bungee strap. Get a extra mem card so you don't have to pull cam down every time. Congrats & good luck.

Alreday bought a 256mb off Ebay for $17.50. Will get another one soon. My regular digital camera uses an SD card as well as my daughter so technically I have 3 right now.

I don't have any rechargeable batteries yet, but energizers last about 2 or 3 weeks. Jesse has the rechargeables batt for $11.00 and the charger is around $13.00. Don't know about the solor charger.

P.S My buddy has the rechargeable batt and had it out for 3 weeks and it still reads full. Cold weather puts a hurt on batt life, about 500 pics to 1 batt.

Sorry so long replying guys. On the battery life, Moultrie says 4 weeks. I went ahead and paid the extra money to get the rechargable battery and solar panel, and I think it will be money well spent. Most times I only get to my lease once a month so I'd rather be safe than sorry especially since with the 256 MB card, I can store over 2000 pics on low res and on high res over 1000. I should have some pics and/or videos to post first part of next week.

I paid $179 for the camera, $10 for the battery and I think $19 for the solar panel at Cabelas. I put it on their 6 month payment plan. I bought a 256MB SD card of Ebay for about $20 shipped. Seeing as how it costs about $15-20 a month for a 35mm camera + if you buy a Stealth cheapie at $70, I'll recoup my investment and start going back in the black in 6-8 months by going digital. Not to mention the fact that I used to set the delay on 10 minutes, there are no telling how many good bucks I wasn't geting pictures of with the 35mm. Now I have it set on 1 minute. I'll never go back to film. I may have a few Stealth Cams listed in the classifieds soon. :D
