Might be very repetative, but I need some climber advice!
 

I basically don't know anything about them, but I'm looking for your advice on what climber to get. I bow hunt 99% of the time, so it has to be a stand that I can shoot sitting down and standing up, light in weight would be good, easy to pack would be good and easy and quiet to put up would be good too. I've never been one for sling seats like on some of the API lock ons. I like big seats and big platforms like on the Gorilla Silver Back or Gorilla King Kong. So with all of that in mind....what stand will work the best for me????

I like Summit as well. I really can`t comment on OL'MAN stands I have never used one. But have Only heard good things about them. (IMO) I don`t think you could go wrong with ether[&:]

Can you be more specific Charlie? What type of climber that doesn't have that bar in front of you limiting shots that are right in front of you?

I got a Summit Cobra a few years ago and it's great, light, comfortable and perfect for bowhunting.

I like the Summit Viper. A lot of what you need to look at is your weight and frame. Make sure you get a climber that is rated for your weight and all of the equipment you will have. Also, look at the size of the top and bottom platform if you are larger like me (6'5" 285). I tend to shy away from any stand that has bands instead of cables holding you to the tree. Just my opinions.

My favorite is the API bowhunter. Very lite, comfortable and very quiet and easy to set up.

last year I bought the summit broadhead back packer. It is light, quiet and doesn't have a frount bar. It is sturdy and safe and comes with a full body harness. the seat is plenty large but the platform might not be as big as you might like. It folds completely flat and is easy to set up. This is my first climber, so I don't really have anything to compair it with, but I am very pleased with it so far.

Lone wolf is light and easy to shoot out of with a bow.
