RE: Best release???

The 'best' release is your fingers. Always with you, multi-purpose, don't clank on the riser/quiver/treestand at the worst possible moment... well, those are just a few benefits of fingers. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I've gotten tired of having a release swinging from my wrist. I don't like the fact that when I'm hooked up to the string, my hands are basically tied. So-o-o, I've been experimenting around with a T-handle release. Got a TrueFire T-handle caliper that's not the most expensive release in the world, but it works pretty good. I'm actually a lot more accurate with this $35 thumb trigger release than I am with a $60 index finger trigger. Best thing about it is I can clip the release onto my string loop and let 'er hang while I scratch my nose, use the bino's, squash a skeeter... whatever.

By the way, I was looking for a TruBall T-handle caliper when I got this TrueFire. Couldn't find one. I still want the TruBall though and will get one when I run across it.
