Im in central Illinois and actually harvested this trophy on public land. Mason county is not known to produce deer of this caliber, but this guy made an exception to that rule. The taxidermy was done by By Danny Roberts. He resides at the state forest and is well known for his master taxidermy skills. I highly reccomend him, especially after being to the deer show and noticeing the lack of taxidermy talent in a great number of deer there. It was almost a sin to see some of those large beasts there with the crappy tax. job on them. But anyway, Thanks. This was a special Bow kill to have made pope& young And Boone& crocket.

That is aweomse!! I don't think many realize what a feat it is to pull of THE largest typical bowkill in the STATE of ILLINOIS!!! Truly an amazing stunt and to pull it out of your hat on public lans is just unbelievable!!! Congrats on the buck of a lifetime!

Thanks guys, but i truly think the deer deserves most of the credit. He was the one that did everything right, except for that one Nov. morning when he walked under my bow hunting stand.
