AAAHHHHHHH mother nature at her finest. I used to think the same way, but after figuring out the wind is not my friend when shooting, I learned to deal with it. If I want to do any precise tuning or pin point shooting I either go to our indoor range or wait till a calm day outside. It is however good to practice in before you go hunting because out there you might need to adjust your shot due to the weather. Good luck.

Depending on the winds yes. A head or tail wind will have little effect on my bow but a cross breeze and forget it, my arrows will have a mind of their own. Knowing this I don't generally shoot if the winds are gusting hard.

I don't normally notice it as bad in the woods. If the wind is broken up my arrows fly well but a full on cross breeze in an open field I'd just rather not shot, espically if an animal is my target.
