ping

I've only been shooting for about half a year now so i don't know if this is normal or not. I just got the draw length on my pse deer hunter (this is the only bow i've owned) shortened and today i noticed that when i release there is a pretty good ping sound my bow makes. Its possible that the sound has always been there and i just didn't notice, but i'm just wondering if you guys think this is normal or if there is something i need to change to quiet it down a bit?

Its hard to say exactly what it is but i would try a set of limbsavers or just take a it to a shop and have them figure it out.

could be your arrow is bouncing off the rest, could be the spring in your release, could be a loose screw somewhere, could just be something resonating. maybe if somone stood beside you when you shot they could figure out where it was coming from.

bigbuck, that is one crazy looking bow.
