Default Question on wrapped fiber optics in DB blinds.

How do wrapped fiber optic sights work in the Double blinds. Is it still too dark?

Thanks.

Mike

I don't use sights on my bow ,
but all of my smokepoles have Tru Glo sights and they work just fine . Tru Glos are pretty limited compared to wrapped models , so you should be fine .

I don't know about the DB but I have a Doghouse TSC and use a Trophy Ridge Nitro Extreme which has fairly good amount of fiber optic and it doesn't light up too well in the blind. I bought a light for the sight though and no more problems.

I've always read that the wrapped sight are ok while in the DB. But with other sights, you might have a problem seeing them.

Good idea to have a small light on your sight. A couple of times in
the last few minutes of shooting light I've had trouble picking up
my pins. Missed a nice coues deer a couple years back while set up
over a waterhole. I absolutely could not pick up my pins while
looking through my peep[:@].

A compelling reason to learn instinctive shooting , perhaps ?

I use a vital bow gear trapper with a light on it. It works great! You will need a light on your sight. You will have trouble seeing your pins no matter what sight you use without a light. Good luck

Thanks guys. When I get my new VBG i'll test it in the blind, and get a light if I need it. Thanks for the info. It sounds like I'll need the light though.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'll take my chances using pins, especially
out west.
