Went to a video shoot today
 

I got invited by the head of the local archery club to tag along to a video shoot tonite over in iowa. i must say, its defintely something else. our two man team took second of 4 teams with a score of 201. was nice to get out and shoot my bow. the video shooting just something you must try. i was impressed. im joining the club now after seeing what its like. 1st shoot is easter sunday weekend i believe.

Video shoots are real cool to shoot,,they keep track of your vital area kills and hits,,You get to experience just like if you were in a real hunt situation..You can have the video set up to shoot big game like Girraffes,,Kudu's ,,Elk,,Deer then the smaller game,,Youre actually shooting at a screen about twenty yards with special flat tips (sensors) on the ends of your arrows in 100,,125 grains etc.

I shot pretty good. one bullseye on a turkey, and i had no idea where to shoot one. no misses, so i feel pretty good about that. i havent shot since bow season but i havent lost any accuracy whatsoever.
