best fixed head
im looking for the best fixed head that flys straight and goes with my field points. Is there such a head? Also that has great penetration. I plan on using them for deer and would like 100 grainers. HELP

Well, I see you are shooting a Mathews, so I doubt you can find one....
Um, Muzzy's are good, stingers are good...you may want to look at some of the newer low profile heads, such as the Boss Bullet, or Slick Trick.

RE: best fixed head
I used the 100 grain NAP Nitrons this past season and was really impressed with them. They are pretty small with a 1 1/8" cut but they fly AWESOME! They are as accurate as any broadhead that I've ever used/seen and boy are those NAP blades sharp. I took two deer with them...the first one went 40 yds. and crashed and the second went 30 yds. layed down and got back up and went 40 yds. farther. For such a small broadhead it sure leaves a pretty good-sized hole. I will be using the Nitrons and Slicktricks again next fall.
Here's a photo of the damage the Nitron did to my 8-pt. from last season. It took out ribs on both sided but came through in perfect shape and just as sharp as it was out of the box.

RE: best fixed head
Nitrons have a 1 1/16" diameter cut. But the difference between a 1 1/16" head and a 1 1/8 head is well, 1/32" per blade, which isn't a whole lot. Nitrons get my vote too for best fixed blade head. They are extremely tough, fly like fieldpoints, have great penetration, and the blades are among the sharpest factory blades I've ever seen.
