Default Was shooting and plop!

I was shooting my bow, and my stabilizer just "jumped" of the bow. I inspected it re-installed it and did not notice anything wrong. Should I have the pro shop check it out or what. I'm getting paranoid... Stuff shouldn't jump off...

I would try installing it with a little lock-tight. Should take care of it backing out from vibration, assuming that's all it is.

And don't forget to tie it's legs together so it can't jump so good.

wesbowhunt,
The bowstring wax is useful as a thread locker for fieldpoints, broadheads, and any other screws that attach stuff to your bow. Steel screws and aluminium risers often seem to weld themselves together, but if you wax the threads you can still take things apart without stipping the threads or the heads of the screw.

Good luck hunting! >>>------------>

I usually check my field points before every shot and my stabilizer every now and then.....it's just my routine, but a good practice to prevent what happened to you.

Check out your threading on the stabilizer and riser ,you might just have to re tap it ,but for now you can try to loc tite it, but once it's on you won't want to take it off ,so if it doesn't fit your case with the stabilizer on then you'll have to loc tite it everytime you use it .
