debating about dropping down to one pin.
 

Right now i shoot a copper john site with 5 pins, well four now, but only use three. I am thinking about getting an impact archery one pin sight. Maybe sight it in at 25 yards and jus hunt with that.
WHat do you all think of single pins?

Like I said in another post I go with 1 pin but my yardages for hunting are limited by thick woods. If you hunt field edges or out west and expect long shots more pins the better. Where I hunt the better deer seem to stay back away from the fields until dark so I set up my tree stands between the bedding area and the food source. Great hunting but a long way ouit in the dark.

I only have two pins on my sight. 20 and 30. I didn't feel confident about my shooting when i got my bow years ago. Now I actually just bought a new sight which will start at 20 and go to 50. Practice makes prefection.

I have an Impact and I zero it in at 30 yards and I'm good all the way in. Obviously I adjust if I'm shooting farther.

i have one pin and love it, much easier to see the deer and where you want to hit. Farther away aim high, closier to you aim lower. Imo later guys

With the single pin it's aperfect setup while hunting in the wood's and concealed area's ,but if I'm planning on hunting open area's I'll put on my Spott Hogg Real Deal which give's me a lot more range,jusy in case .In most case's while hunting, the single pin is all you need because most of us don't like to shoot at animal's further than 30yrds anyway's,so a single pin is perfect .
