impact archery vs cobra sights

What does everyone think about these sights. Which one is a superior sight. Which one would you go with and is there something else with the brightness of these that you would recomend?

Impact is way brighter in low light i have found. I can still see them after shooting hours.

Can't say I've tried the impact ones, but the Cobra Sidewinder I have is plenty bright for me, and a great improvement over any "short fiber" pin I've seen, including TruGlow's tritium-backed steel pins.

Do you know if you can get a bubble for the Impact sights? I think the impact sight is the best I have seen so far. Only I kinda wish they came with a bubble. I admit really don't use my bubble on my present sight all that much but it still is nice to have.

The COSMIC by impact archery combined with the NO-PEEP by timberline works awesome in low light(dawn, dusk)hunting situations!

I shoot the Omega XL from Impact with a blue light. Have never shot a Cobra but I love my Impact. Pin stays lit well after dusk without the blue light on.

Yes you can get the bubble for your Impacr Archery.I seen the set of sight, bubble and blue light on e-bay a week ago .I don't know why anyone would need the blue light for their Impact sight, because it's plenty bright as Gruhotbigracks said ,I can see my pin as well well after shooting light has passed .I don't know much about the Cobra but I do own the Cosmic from Impact and it's the best hunting sight I've used .

I love my Sidewinder. In my opinion its the perfect site, durable, bright, and looks cool.

Do you think the way the Fiber is strung on the cobra that it will be an issue? I am between these two.

I've killed deer with both and IMO, were pretty similar designs.

I now shoot the Impact Cosmic XL
I can't remember the name of the Cosmic I had, but it was a moveable single pin sight, all metal, very similar desing to the Cosmic and about the same price.

I choose impace b/c I like the clear aperture and b/c I have contacted their customer service several times and they have helped me out. I just ordered the crosshair aperture to try with my Cosmic frame. I hope to start shooting soon and find out which one I like best.

I don't use either but have looked at both extensively. In fact I see them every day at the store. Were it my choice I'd take the Sidewinder simply because of the metal pin guard vs. molded plastic. It'll be stronger in the event you decide to throw your bow through the woods after you miss---or just do something dumb and drop it out of a tree. The fact that it's made of all machined aluminum is a plus IMO. To my way of thinking it costs more to machine a piece of aluminum than it does to mold something out of plastic--and the Sidewinder is about $20 cheaper. How did that happen?

My hunting sight cost $100+ so that says it's not a money issue, that's for sure. I just look at value for the buck.

Oh, and I'd take the three pin model.
