How do I spin test my broadheads?

Everytime I try to spin them the arrow spins but it falls over before I have enough time to see if it wobbles. Am I supposed to spin it fast or go slow?

Spin it slow.

If your broadhead is misaligned, you will notice wobbling immediately. Make sure the point is on a hard surface like a hardwood board. Also, form a circle around the shaft with your thumb and forefinger while its spinning. this will allow it to spin but prevent it from falling over when it slows down.

Best way is to buy a spinner and lay the arrow on there so you can see real well if its out of alignment. These are not expensive and you dont have to take into fact of error as you try to spin these on a table or in between fingers.

I use my old arrow straightener. I could never seem to get the arrows back to straight with it but I sure could tell if one was a little out. I now just throw them away rather than mess with bent arrows or miss aligned broadheads.
