sights
I have a very old bow. I bought it new about 15 years ago. I killed two deer with it last year. but I want to get some new sights for next season. My bow is a Browning excellarator plus. any tips on what kind of sights would be best for my bow would help alot. thanks

RE: sights
Hello fellow browning guy. I've been a loyal Browning guy for years. And waiting on my new Illusion. but I've tried alot of different sights. I personally use Toxonics Marksmam w/ harmonic dampning. I also like Copper johns, and PSE's Top Gun's.

RE: sights
Hey there Ken3, I dont know much about your peticular bow but I use trophy Ridge's Vertical sights, I love them. You can see much more of the animal than with horizontal sights.

RE: sights
I also use Trophy Ridge's vertical sights for the same reason as Huntinsinme. Good luck!

RE: sights
Sights... many to choose from, simple to complex. For hunting, I prefer a fixed pin sight with a good field of view. If you shoot a peep, look to a sight with a round pin guard. The Extreme archery Sniper Extreme and Copper John Dead Nuts are two very good, machined aluminum offerings. The Trophy Ridge line ranks up there are well. All have good light gathering capabilities and are rock solid performers.

RE: sights
Don't buy anything until you look at the sight made by IMPACT ARCHERY.

RE: sights
I have been a long time Trophy Ridge user. They have a sight for whatever application you are looking for. Some express concern about it not being an all aluminum sight, but I've never had one break on me and I've owned several.
