I like the idea of the turnbuckle. I hate chainon stands because you can never get the chain on tight enough, or if you do you can't get it back off. Good idea. My only question is: What is the weight rating of a turnbuckle? I don't want that being my weakest link, literally.

Talondale,

I am not sure what the weight rating is but I use the big ones and typically weld the eyes closed so they aren't able to bend out.
