I need some ideas
 

I'm 20 years old and love to hunt. I'm in school and i'm having trouble figuring out what I want to do with my life. I'm trying to find away into the industry but I don't really know how or what I even want to do. If you have any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks!!!

By school I take it you are in college? If your love for hunting is that strong and you might also want to make a career out of it, you might consider marketing. Just think, any and all manufacturers, video production companies, etc. need gurus running the business end. In the long term, working for a hunting enterprise might just get you to where you want eventually.....and who knows? You might just start your own hunting venture sometime.

If it doesn't work out in the hunting field there is always a need for people with strong marketing/business skills in other industries.

Try something like engineering,and also (cad) design and Mechinical Engineer is a great major,it branches off in so many directions,such as electical ,civil and chemical ,i studied Electical engineering and injoy it,I work develpment and design and using cad system. Good Luck!

I second the marketing route advice you got already. Contact your favourite equipment manufacturer by writing to the president indicating your desire to work for them on graduation. That might just flatter his or her ego and you could get a response as to what they look for in an entry level position candidate. That could give you some direction for your studies.

A degree in biology or wildlife managment is a step in the right direction.;)

I'm looking at going back to school to get licensed as a land surveyor. It's not "in" the indstury but it will afford you plenty of time in the woods and a field. Combineing work with scouting and opening the doors into propertied you may want to hunt but not have access to.

All of the above ideas are great. I say do what you love to do..sales, marketing, engineering bows...whatever, BUT, do not underestimate the importance of loving your job. I wouldn't trade mine for the world. Find what YOU like doing and you will be happy.
