Finally bought a Leaf River dig cam

Good news and bad news.

Good news is I set it in front of a pile of corn overnight. I had it on a 3 minute delay. It took 41 pictures over night. So the deer are eating good:)

On to the bad news[:'(]

I won't be able to see the pics on the cam[>:]

I am already sending it back for repair. It is defective. It will not power up the viewing screen to upload the pics into my PC. I have to send it to Leaf River for repair. They were very friendly on the phone. He said I should have it back in 7 days. I was going to exchange it but Cabelas has them on back order and said they wouldn't recieve their order until Feb. 21st. So then I am looking at up to a week after that for mine[&o]

So back to the factory it goes for repair. I hope these few bucks left with antlers are still carrying them in a week or so when my camera returns. He told me he will not be able to save the pics when he services the unit:(

you'll like it I love mine. how long did you leave the cam out to get that many pics. I left mine out to days and got 37 photos. get a compact flash card then you don't have to remove the cam. I have to cards, take one out and put the other one in. this will save time and trips.

It was out just over night. I set it up around 4:30PM and picked it up around 8:15 this morning. I knew those deer hit the corn hard so I set it on a pic every 3 minutes so I didn't burn the memory up on just one or two deer.

I planned on getting the memory cards but was anxious to get it out there before they shedded. I will have the memory cards by the time my camera comes back.

Sorry I have no info on your cam. Good luck with it though.

I'll probably get one and could care less if they upload to a computer. For me it's about the convenience of switching out memory cards.

I understand what you are saying but there were many options that I could not use because that screen was broke.

I could not change any of the digital camera options. The LCD screen did not work at all.

Well I did what any logical person would do.

I drove down to Ashland Ohio and threw down some cash on another Leaf River cam while mine is away getting service[8D]
