Where to buy mathews bows?

Why doesn't Mathews sell there bows through companies like Cabelas or some other large retail organization that makes sales through the internet? I've only seen sales in local bow shops and there aren't any good ones in my area. Thanks.

RE: Where to buy mathews bows?

Mathews has set up a retail distribution network of authorized dealers. The dealers have a defined radius where another shop cannot carry Mathews and the dealers are not supposed to ship the bows, so mailorder is out of the question.

They can do this because of the demand for their bows. It keeps competition down between dealers, thus enabling the dealer to keep the profit margin a bit higher than it would otherwise. If you don't like your local dealer, you have to be willing to drive a bit to get one that carries the brand and you're willing to give your business to.

You can buy new Matthews on ebay! Be sure the seller has good feedback and history for good sells and you should be alright. Prices are right and you pay no sales tax. You can email Matthews for dealer nearest you. I love my Legacy!

I bought my Q2 from ebay. Got a good deal and a nice bow. The only downside is that I dont have the mathewes warranty, I'm told it is only for the original owner.
