RE: string loops
Someone else recently asked this same question. If you go back about 3 pages, there is a topic tltled "Release Aid String Loop" that has some great info on this. Good Luck!

RE: string loops
thanks a lot! i thought i saw that on here a while ago and i must have spent and hour looking for it and finally decided that i must have dreamed it up. lol but really thanks i had no clue as to how to tie them. i think i got it right but i have only shot it acouple of times.
just a question though what is the difference between the rope loops and the metal ones? i didn't know but i was told the rope loops where better? so i went to my buddies shop and he ended up giveing me about 2 ft of the stuff for free because he said he only would use the metal ones? so it was a good day! |
RE: string loops
The metal ones are made out of metal. LOL No, they are heavier and wear the serving and jaws of the release down faster.

RE: string loops
what is a string loop?
|
RE: string loops
they are a loop that holds the arrow inbetween itself so your release is directly behind the arrow
go here to see a picture string loop |

RE: string loops
be careful with those string loops, I have tied them in exceptional knots, and they came undone during the drawback on 3 occasions this year. I know you're all thinking it's the shooter, nope I did "EXACTLY" how the instructions and bow shop did, only when they got wet and worked around ( i spot and stalk hunt, too) they got frayed and just came undone altogether. I use a Ultra Nok XL now, and I love it! Just something to think about...
