I have been using one of those razor blade hobby knives to remove the fletching and it works pretty good. The glue on the other hand is another story. Sand paper will take it off but it damages the finish on my arrows. I have some acetone but I was afraid to try it. I thought it might eat into the carbon fibers. It sounds like there is no easy way to do it. Thanks Again! |

To remove old cresting, I put the end of my arrow in hot water for a few minutes to let it soak and then it almost peals right off. Then use acetone to clean the adhesive off.;)
