It's getting about that time...isn't it?
I am going to do some spring scouting and look for dropped antlers for the first time and I have some beginner questions.
When is the best time? Are there certain places to look (fence lines, old rubs, etc)? I am in Northwest Mo, if that makes a difference. Any help/advice is appreciated! |

I'll walk the trails they walk. Look around the bedding and feeding areas as well. Went out with the boy for a bit today with no luck. Good luck to you!

friend of mine hunted last week of season in il. and found a set of sheds right where a buck jumped a fence and they fell off.

I've been out 3 times..I've found 7 fresh sheds,15 old sheds and 1 elk shed (last years)..I'm going out again later this week if it quits snowing..Good luck to all..

Swamp Dawg,
I am about an hour north of KC and about an 45 minutes south of the Iowa border. I think Centerville is more towards the center of the state. I think it's probably 2-4 hours away. That should be some very nice hunting in that part of Ia! |

Scar,
How far are you from Unionville? The property I hunt there is in Missouri, but sits on the Iowa border. |
