If I were buying an arrow saw I'd likely go with the Apple. Apple quality is top notch and if it's something you'll have for a while I'd spend the extra money and get a product with known longevity. Check this link and see if it may be a little cheaper here

Actually I checked FS and the Apple A1 was only $106.00. If they have any left that's a great deal. Don't skimp on quality;)

you may want to ask, but I believe the cheaper one does not have a scale on it, you also have to mount it. I bought a cheaper model from them years ago and mounted it on a 2 by 4. Works fine.

You know, you could always build your own. I think I spent a total of $25.00 building mine with this saw from Harbor Freight Tools.

Hey that mini saw from HF...what kind of blade does it have? Works pretty good on carbon arrows? How exactly did you put your cutting station together? Thanks..

It's just a tiny saw blade really, not sure how else to explain it. Send me an email and I'll send you the specifics on the one I have with directions on how to set one of your own up. It works GREAT on carbon arrows. I've cut about 2 dozen with it now and am more than pleased with it.
