Sighting In Target

This is probably a stupid questions but I was wondering how most of you go about sighting in your target. Do you center the outside ring of your sight within your peep or do you center the specific sight pin within your peep? Thanks Again.

I put the bottom of my sight guard at the bottom of my peep.
