Carbon Blast
I am curious what you think of this product it is supposed to be better than any other scent killer (consealer, cover you know.) I've seen adds that show it makes you clothes black and if it does does it come off on you seats in your vehicle and do you have to wash it often and does it muttle your camo pattern. And do you feel it works better than othe commercial sprays. I would really like to get a carbon suit (scent blocker etc.) But I got a new bow and a new climber stand and a 3-D target this year so I feel really safe saying I'm done. So for those of you who use or have used it what are your thoughts.

RE: Carbon Blast
I have used the carbon blast and I like it, I have never had a problem with it darkening my camo, In the ad that you sawe if you will notice the side with out carbon blast is soaking wet, I guess if you sprayed a complete bottle of carbon blast in one spot it would turn it black. I have never had a problem with it. Hope this helps

RE: Carbon Blast
I'm sure it works well, I'd find it hard to believe that it works any better then "Scent Killer". Scent Killer has removed gas smell for me, can't be any better than that.

RE: Carbon Blast
I wouldn't spray it on your white T shirt, but on camo its fine. If you can get the stuff to spray at all. Seems evertime I tried to spray it, the stuff would plug up the nossle. Then you have the stuff oooozing out all over the place. Look for the homemade scent spray thread and try that. Save yourself some $.

RE: Carbon Blast
carbon blast is good, but is does leave the black residue. u probably cannot tell because of your camo color. your best bet is to spray your under garmets with it..use the other scent killers on the outside clothing

RE: Carbon Blast
The carbon blast is the only one I know of that removes all kinds of oders. If the others did that, they couldn't have scent killer with autumn scent now could they?
Basically, the carbon blast is the same as the rest, but with carbon added. While it can darken what you spray it on, it's nothing like the adds agains't it...very hard to notice, AND it DOES wash off. It shouldn't turn your car seat black as long as you don't use the whole damn bottle (why are you wearing your hunting clothes in the car???) If your worried about the color, spray the INSIDE of your garments (that's were the scent comes from anyway) |
RE: Carbon Blast
Thanks for the replies I did not go with the carbon blast I picked up some scent killer instead I like to wash all my hunting clothes together including sock and undies on the bottle of carbon blast it said to wash sprayed garments seperate. Why do I wear my hunting clothes in the car? usually it gets pretty darn cold up here in noerthern MN. in later season and a guy needs to warm up a little.

RE: Carbon Blast
I bought a bottle last fall of carbon blast. Sprayed 1 squirt on my new hunting coat, and wow it made a black spot on my new coat. I was like WHAT THE HECK! I threw the coat in the washer, and it came right out. But I won't use it on my hunting clothes again.

RE: Carbon Blast
My biggest complaint was that the spray bottle they put it in was junk. Mine broke after a few squirts. I did notice that if you don't shake it up it will leave darker patches.

RE: Carbon Blast
Carbon Blast does work, but it can darken your clothing. Just turn them inside out and spray the inside of them, then you can still use game scent on the outside without counteracting the scent. Using deer or elk scent on the outside of your clothes completes the task.
