RE: Question???
Even though the broadhead most of the time opens and causes damage inside, you get a much more bleak blood trail because theres no exit hole. Fletching is preference mostly. I prefer feathers because of the advantages on flight characteristics(ie. straighten out faster, stabalize faster, recover from contact faster). However, they are louder, and some people say they arent as durable. Ive found that even a crappy feather can shoot as good as a vane. You shoot a hole through a vane, it has to be replaced. You hit a feather and cut a nick out of it, you can still shoot it. And regardless of what people say, they can and do shoot wet. My two cents.

RE: Question???
Well if i get what your saying your dont have enough kinetic energy to use mechanicals if the broadhead isnt going threw as it is. I would stick the fixed.
