permission to hunt unhunted land

I just called a guy that owns land near me to ask permission to hunt his land next fall, and he said I could. While on the phone he mentioned he has seen 2 eight points and a big 10 point this year. He said the deer get pretty big on his property because nobody hunts there. I am stocked I'll be out there tomorrow doing some preseason scouting.

way to go, you might think about helping the landowner a little this summer, fences, gates, fallen trees and such, and at x-mas take'm a country or smoked ham. and take care of the property. hope you can hunt it for a long time to come;)

Man I agree with M.t.hands. I would be over there every opportunity I get helpin out. Give him a call once in awhile. If anything just to chit chat or see if anything needs to be done. Set up some trail cams if ya can. Would love to see some biggins. Maybe you'll get a seak peek at what may lie ahead this fall.
