I got my new bow! <dances around>

My mug has been plastered with a :D all afternoon.

I've been really itching for a new bow for sometime...and all the pieces finally fell into place. Thanks for the help on this buckeye, and be sure to let JB know how happy I am.

My '04 Bowtech Mighty Mite arrive by mail today (though I thought it was a federal holiday) and my wife called me while I was hiking to the back of my land for a hunt. Well...I ditched the hunt and came back to play with the bow before it got dark. WOW!! I really like the way this thing shoots. I installed a WB rest, and copper john sight and started shooting it.

My only complaint is this: It's harder to pull my arrows out of my target now [:-]

With no peep sight, and my WB installed by an amateur (me) I made a decent grouping at 20yards...I took a pic but I won't bore all you experienced archers with a noobies softball-sized group [8D].

Another BowTechy on the forum ,congrat's to you David on your Mighty Mite ,they're a real barn burner for a short axle to axle bow I know your really gonna like it .

I went to the Bowtech dealer around my area for the first time today. As I stated in another post in the tech forum, I was able to not only get my bow all set up and tuned with the WB, but I was able to shoot the Allegiance and Switchback side by side :D

The bow came as a 28" DL, and the guy at the shop switched out modules down to a 27", and wow, what a difference. It was even easier to draw, and my accuracy...well, take a peek:

I took 2 nocks off in < 10 shots...nearly had a robin hood on one of them. I'm VERY pleased with the bow. According to the chrono, I'm shooting some 25" 2117's at around 235 fps. I was going to get a Stealth stabilizer, but while I was at the shop, I decided to patronize them a bit and buy a limbs saver stabilizer after the guy was nice enough to let me shoot the bow for a while with a couple different stabilizers.
