What is the correct spring tension?
 

I have the spring tension on my Quicktune 1000 set so that when I set an arrow on it, it flops down to the shelf on the riser. When I draw back, the rest rises up to the proper height. However, when I hit the wall when I draw back, the bump moves the prongs down a little. Should I set the spring a little tighter or do you have any other suggestions?

gm32, you may get a better answer from Len, or PW12, but I have always had my best results with spring tension by setting the tension just heavy enough to keep the arrow from collapsing the rest before you begin your draw cycle. Not ANY heavier than this.

The launcher should have enough tension to lift the arrow if you push the arrow and launcher down to the shelf.It should come up completely and not collapse any.You should make the adjustments in slight increments so you don't get too much tension.
