More than 1 pair of limbsaves on a bow
 

If you put more than one pair or limbsavers on a bow will it work better? I mean make is quiter?

Seems to me it would affect the performance of the limbs.....But I don't know...It would not be necessary though.

My son did this. It has no effect on the speed of the arrow. We checked. I do not think it made any difference in noise either. Just something he had to try. We won't be doing it again. Cost double to replace when they tear off.[:@]

I have to sets on my bow. I have no problems whatsoever! I don't know if i can tell but my buddy says my bow is quieter! Seems to be very quiet when I shoot in the woods! I was kinda putz-in around one day and said what the heck! My bow is a 99' Hoyt.

I got two sets on my bow as well. I think it made a differance in how quiet the bow is.

I guess I should add that I also have the new cable guard dampener, leeches, and the bow came equiped with two of the modular units attached to the top and bottom of the riser. So in all I have 9 pieces of Simms prooducts on my bow as well as a LORE stabilizer out front.

The bow is whisper quiet.

Any Simms products you add will make the bow progressively quieter with each product.

I got 4 sets. One regular set, and 2 sets of minis on just the bow, and 1 set on my site guard.

I agree with big bulls and for some bows two limb savers do make a difference, my Martin Fury is a very fast but noise bow that creates a lot of shock. I put one pair on towards the end of the limbs. And after shooting it I put another pair in the middle of the limbs and it made a difference. Now on my New Mathews Switchback I will only put on one pair. Not that the bow even needs it.

I have 2 sets on my recurve , one near the tips and the other where the limbs bolt on . It made a noticeable difference in both the noise and vibration in the riser . Adding String Leeches also helped .
