Anybody seen this? One county over from where I hunt. Guess I gotta move!
Came outta hillsdale county. State record is 219 1/8
This green scored at 223 7/8
with a bow!

Try this again. Maybe this is a better picture.

damn I didnt know South East MI produced that big of a buck! Ive hunted In Gennesee County and never heard of one that big. Anyway very nice buck there.

Hillsdale, Washtenaw and Jackson county produce some big ones.
Been hunting those exclusively for 5 years now.

A good friend of mine hunted on the farm next to where that buck was taken... Heard the whole story like 10 times.. Said he had seen a buck last year that was smaller but had some of the same chracteristics?? To bad he didn't see it out hunting!!

You always here of people talkin about new possible county records in those areas.
I've seen a couple that would've scored in the 170's or 180's (never close enough) but I've not seen one that looked like that one!
Great story cus the guy was really just a meat hunter and didn't even know what he had till people started talking about it.

Sure is a brute, the rack is very deceiving because it doesn't look over 200, IMHO. I'd take that buck anyday!

That's an awsome freaking rack ,but for the life of me I can't understand why he wouldn't have gotten the full head mount done .I' never read the story but I will later. Maybe there's a logical reason for it .

That is a dandy!

nubo , he probably is getting a full head mount. They cut the rack off the same way for a full head mount as they do for a plaque mount.
