Default Meeting with member's

Today I took a trip to Bass Pro in Vaughn,as I was looking through the Archery section my cell phone rang ,I answered and this fella ask's nubo" where are you ?I said I'm at BassPro in the Archery section ,he said ya " so am I.So As I looked around I notice a guy standing in the rifle section who looked as though he was looking for someone ,I went up and asked him is your name Terry,he said no",now I'm feeling a little dumb ,so I head back over to the archery section and I hear someone call out nubo" ,I turn around and there he was standing there with a big grin on his face , TerryM ,we looked around the store for a bit and then we went for something to drink and a total hunting conversation. After about 45 minute's Terry say's let's take a walk back into Basspro ,you said you wanted to buy a new stand so we'll go get you a new stand ,LOL.We checked out the bow's and I ended up coming out of that store about $400.00 poorer{ New Treestand} .Thank's alot Terry LMAO. The reason I've wroten this post is just to say what a pleasure it was to meet someone from this forum, and if it wasn't for this forum we probably would have never met . Terry is a great guy and helping me out with a Hunting trip for myself and Extreme 1 and I certainly do appreciate it . I also was helping him find a bow that might be suitable for his need's ,and I think we have accomplished that .I had him checkout the Buckmaster G2's ,Reflex Grizzly ,Parker ??and a coule of P.S.E. Typhoon. Now it's up to him to decide which one of these bow's suit's him best.
TerryM! your a great guy and I hope to see you again in the near future, now once you've gotten yourself all setup with your new bow we'll get out there and get you a Turkey with it.

Funny you should post this, Nubo. I've been wanting to organize a hunt for team members at some ranch. I don't know where but, I would like to shoot the bull after our hunt each night with many members from this form. So far I've been to Len's shop, which is nice and he can talk bow all day long, and saw another person now posting on this site who I've hunted with in the past.

I would like to know who else out there would like to travel to a hunting spot a shoot the bull?

Fieldmouse !

Although I never hunted on your team I'd love to do that ,but I'm restricted to 1 hunt trip a season and I guess it would be out of the question this season. It's pretty neat when you meet new guy's who all have the same thing's in common .I think that your idea is a great one at that ,I only wish we could make it happen.

I would love the opportunity to hunt with any die hards out there. I have never hunted out of Minnesota for whitetails and would love the chance to do so. I just don't believe in the big ticket hunt. IMO the expensive guides and such are ruining something that god gave us all. Why should we have to pay that top buck just because some rich guy can afford it cause I certainly can't. I do just fine without them quite frankly. But I am interested in any hunt that we can put together within reason. That would be a blast.

And no, I am not sour even though it may sound like it. It's just getting harder and harder to find a hole to hunt. Everyone is leasing land for corporate uses and it stinks. There are some things that money shouldn't be able to buy. And thats the great outdoors.

I agree Tribal. The looks of your kills tells me that you were the sleeper of the contest. I guess maybe I should start looking in Mn for hunting places.

I pose the need to go some place based on the size of the group, 10 I think would be max that we would get together maybe as much as 20. You need some where to go that can hold that many people. I would also want a place that monsters are a potential. I don't know there is always public hunting out there some where. Who was it that went to Ks and dropped a monster on public land? Just a thought.

Nubo, I'm too am very restricted to my trips. Last year I went on a long range fishing trip and had a blast. Next year my buddy want's to go to Alaska. I'm waiting for the right moment to drop that shoe.
