Rubbing the block on NAP Quicktune 4000
I recently put a NAP Quicktune 4000 fall away rest on my Martin Jaguar Magnum...I'm still rubbing my cock fletch on the block. The bow is very short (32" A to A)and there is no way fo me to move the rest lower. Should I raise my nock and the "top" of the prong position at full draw? This is sooo frustrating 1wk before opening day. HELP!

RE: Rubbing the block on NAP Quicktune 4000
Be careful when altering the height of the rest. You may need to move your arrow nock setting(s) to match. Your arrow should be very close to level with a slight upward angle (barely noticable)
Also be very careful where you stick your cock fletch as you may bend or break it. |
RE: Rubbing the block on NAP Quicktune 4000
If your arrow sits even with the hole in your riser at full draw, it shouldn't hit the rest after it drops. The block of that rest should be level with the shelf as it lays down, so any arrow shot should not have a big enough fletch where it will sit level with that hole, and still contact the shelf, or the rest. Something's wrong there. Or is it hitting before the rest drops away? Then you need to adjust the tension so it drops a little quickeer.
