Rests
I got a snow day here in Kansas! We didn't get any snow but we did get ice.
What kind of rest do you guys have. I'm thinking about upgrading to a whisker bisquit. |
RE: Rests
upgrading to a whisker biscuit? What are you using now a rock and some 3m tape? :D

:D
That one caught me off guard!!! So far this year I have killed deer with the following rests on my bow at different times of course. GKF Mirage NAP quiktune 2000(modified) NAP Quiktune 1000 |
RE: Rests
I'm not sure what kind of rest i have right now, I bought my bow as a kit. My arrows are always falling off my rest.

RE: Rests
What kind of hunting and/or shooting do you do? ie. treestands, spot and stalk, target shooting, etc.
Many people have the best performance out of dropaway rests. ie. dropzone, muzzy zero effect, Quiktune 2000 or 4000, Trophy Taker shakey hunter to name very few. This is what a majority of the members here shoot for dropaway rests. |
RE: Rests
kansas for hunting the Whisker Biscuit can't be beat IMO

RE: Rests
Always been a TM hunter two prong guy in the past. Went with a whisker biscuit on my new bow. Works great for arrow not falling off but because I have been having trouble paper tuning my bow I still wonder if it isn't affecting arrow flight.

RE: Rests
I hunt from a treestand

RE: Rests
I use a GKF Whisper Disk, it is a better rest IMO than the whisker. It wont damage the fletching, is silent when you draw, keeps that arrow right where you want it, and is very accurate. Great price too.

RE: Rests
Kansashunter,
I've gotten over six years of use and well in excess of 50,000 shots on an original whisker biscuit arrowrest. This rest has been on a number of different bows and has tuned perfectly on every one of them. After years of use the hole in the center of the biscuit is still round and it still shoots quietly and accurately. The biscuit maintains its adjustment and works in all weather conditions. The whisker biscuit is the most reliable piece of archery equiptment you can put on your bow. And it will help you to fill your freezer! Good luck hunting! >>>------------> |
