I'd advise either a string loop w/a fixed peep or no string loop w/ tubing
Also, always carry an extra foot of tubing in your pack. You don't want that thing to turn at the moment of truth. Strings act funny when they're frozen, wet, etc. Not everything goes down like it does in the 71 degree, nice & dry, indoor archery range.
