Whietails Unlimited...?
 

Does anyone here attend or is a member of Whitetails Unlimited (I am sure that their are). I am thinking of joining, but would like feedback on what some of my peers think of this organization. Is Whitetails Unlimited worth joining.. or just buerocracy?[&:]

Ive been a member for about 5 years now. IMO they are a great organization that gives back alot to the whitetail hunter. Have you ever attended the Whitetail Classic in Madison Wisconsin (I see your in Northern Illinois). They have one heck of a banquet the weekend of the classic that i have been hitting the last 2 years.

Actually Don I do attend the Madison Deer Classic every year. Thanks for the info. on Whitetails Unlimited, I was really hoping their would be more responses. I am actually discouraged that their was not more responses, it means LAZY HUNTERS.[:@]

dukemichaels, PLEASE elobrate on "lazy hunters":eek:. If you mean, were lazy because we don't join the organizations you pick. SORRY, but I would like to pick my own, thank you! Don't assume there is no one supporting hunting out there but YOU! Don

From what I hear most of the money goes to the main head quarters and does not stay localally in Illinois. Join the IBS (Illinois Bowhunters Assoc.) where all the money is used in Illinois.

Thanks Ill Buck, but the IBO's website doesn't really elaborate on any current programs it is associated with. I'll look into it more, but e-mail me or post a reply stating what they do. thanks.
