First Bow Kill
 

Hey I got my first bow kill this weekend. My buddies and I have gotten our bucks, so three of us went to out, with one filming, and I shot a doe that weighed 73 lbs. dressed. We thought I drilled it because it only went about 20 feet and then died, but I got very lucky because I hit it in the butt, but I hit that major artery that is very lethal but hard to hit. I was very thankful for that, but disappointed in my accuracy. Nevertheless, it was awesome seeing that arrow hit and that doe crash down.

Congrats on the harvest and hopefully that deer wasn't standing broadside or you missed your mark by a long ways.

congrats, got my first one last week it was a doe also. If you were like me the acelerated heart rate might have to be blamed for being a bit off the mark.

Good job and I bet most people in here that have shot multiple deer have at one time or another had their bacon saved by a sharp broadhead that clipped something they weren't aiming for myself included.
