TREE CAM- Any Advice?
Tree Cam- Any Advice? I am looking to purchase a tree-cam to start taking pictures at new hunting sites and was wondering if anyone had any advice on which one(s) are good and which are within price range. Don't want to spend $300 but I also don't want one that isn't worth much. Thank you.

RE: TREE CAM- Any Advice?
Personally I am doing fine with a stealth cam!! They cost much less than the other brands, and seem to do just as well. I owned a moultrie game cam for years, and got a total of 3 pictures with a deer in it. My Moultrie ran about $140 when I bought it and I bought the stealth cam for $60. I would pic the stealth cam any day. People I know have always said good things. Also a good thing is that since they cost much less, you can afford to put out more than one to better aid your scouting. Just my thoughts

RE: TREE CAM- Any Advice?
Thanks for the advice "Antlergetter". It does make sense if they only cost $60, you could get 3-4 of them and scout an entire woods. Thanks again.

RE: TREE CAM- Any Advice?
I personally didn't have good luck with my Stealthcams. Its possible I just got bad units but I never got any great pics with them. I ended up getting the Deercams, about $200, and they've worked great. Now I wish I waited and got the digitals. They cost more but you would soon forget that after saving a bundle on developing and film costs.

RE: TREE CAM- Any Advice?
I have used the Stealthcams for the past 2 years and have had great success with them. They have performed just as well as more expensive models. I have tons of pics of deer, coyotes, and turkeys. Also it would hurt a lot less getting a $60 stealthcam stolen than a $300 unit!!
