Hey everyone,

I just moved to Overland Park, Kansas and I was wondering where some good public hunting lands are located?

Mo KS Hunter. Welcome to the board. Your closest public hunting area will be Hillsdale. It is only about 30 minutes from you. Lots of good deer around there to. Not many bow hunters at all. Take care and let me know if you need any more info.

I'm live in Gardner. Never been hunting on public lands. I go fishing at hillsdale a lot. Might try here http://www.kdwp.state.ks.us/office.html#stwa
