If you had $1,500 to spend on anything BUT a new bow for this coming archery season, what all would you buy? I'm putting $1,500 away this summer to spend only on hunting equipment and was wondering what everyone would think of buying in this situation...

I spend the majority of the season complaining about all the lazy (no offence guys) people running around our land on 4-wheelers. I don't think that'll be happening with me anytime soon.

I here you man. It never fails right at deer thirty some kid gets home and grabs his 4 wheeler. Oh and he has the damn muffler off. I,m going to dig me an 8 ft. hole and cover it with leaves. lol As to your orginal question. New stands, camo clothing, warm and cold weather rubber boots, maybe even try out some of that sent lock stuff. If you don,t get it all spent let me know, I,ll be glad to help!

Do what I do. I don't look at money in terms of dollars instead I translate the amount into acres. I would save the money and tell myself I have another acre and a half in the bank.

couple dozen arrow shafts, broadheads, bow press, arrow saw, bow vise. Why limit the $1500 to just one season of use? This stuff has the potential to last you a lifetime.

That's along the lines of what I was thinking Josh. I've been looking at Presses and vises quite a bit lately. I made my own saw last summer and it works great so i won't be needing one of those.

I would spend it saving the enviorment. The fieldmouse is endangered. We must do all we can to save my friends. That's what I would do.

jeez washington i was just joking. i do not condone the use of 4wheelers for people to get to their stand. the only time i use a 4wheeler during deer season is to pull out a deer. and then where we hunt we dont ride during the summer at all. we ride after season ends until february then we stop for the entire year.
