I have found carbons to penetrate less than Alums in real life. I shot 3 deer this year with carbons and no pass thrus. I shot one with alum. and it stuck in the ground after a good pass thru. Not trying to start a pi##ing match, just MY results. I have shot alums. for 15 years before going to carbons and got way more than one shot per arrow. I will shot alums. or ACC's from now on. Don

thats weird, maybe because the alum weighs more? I figured the broadheads or placement would be the only factor in penetration. We never have problems with carbon pass thru. But if I had more penetration with an alum i wouldnt pay for those acc's

I truly believe that every body will get the best results with whatever they like the best,
