2nd Buck 155" 10 point Iowa Whitetail with bow
 

This is my second buck i have ever harvested. Im 18 years old and saw this buck on the opening day of bow season, but couldn't get him close enough for a comfortable shot (20 yards.) During the season i passed up a ton of little bucks, even a 120" 8 point, because i wanted this buck. On the last day of bow season just before like 10 guys were going to go through there with shotguns, this deer finaly walked down the trail to me. I was shaking so bad i thought my arrow was going to fall off of my rest. when he got to about 15 yards i mouth grunted at him and he stopped. So i took my time and put the arrow where it counted double lung. It is a good thing there wasn't any golfers golfing that day because this deer ran out to the middle of the fairway and died. instead of taking pictures on the golf course we loaded it on the four wheeler and brought it to the corn field that i hunt by.

my boss at the sporting goods store measured him and came out with 155" and some change... I will have him officially scored after the drying period.

wow....congrats.....thats a NICE buck.....patients DOES pay off i guess.......passing a 120incher would been TOUGH!! congrats......thats a nice buck....

nice one 18, love the long tine lenght, like someone else mentioned way to control yourself and make it count when it mattered

Congrats on your buck Kyle!!! Determan told me about it the day after his little accident.... I saw it in the paper the other day and it was as big as he said it was!!! Glad to see ya found the site!!!
