Albino Pic!!!!!!!!
Hey guys,
Last night at 1:00 a.m. my best-friend looked out his bedroom window and saw an albino standing right on the other side of his drive-way. He turned on his outside flood-light and was able to get a picture of it! This is the 4th time he has seen this deer and it appears to be antlerless, but it also appears as thought it could be a button buck! It has the neck of a button buck! It is on private property that doesn't get hunted which borders my b-friends property. He has a doe tag left for late archery season, but the problem is his doe tag is for 2E and this pic is in 2D! It looks as though this deer will make it through another year (as long as it doesn't run into any cars)! Pretty neat pic that I thought you guys would enjoy! ![]() |

TommyTANK,
Here in Pennsylvania it is perfectly legal to shoot an albino or a piebald. I am not sure why Wisconsin has a law prohibiting people from shooting them as they are still a deer! I have heard somewhere about a young man shooting a albino and a older lady took him to court over it claiming that it was her "re-incarnated husband"! |
RE: Albino Pic!!!!!!!!
It is a spirit animal, your shouldnt shoot it, or you could get the curse of the Indians.
|
RE: Albino Pic!!!!!!!!
Poohy on that curse. I have friends that shot albinos years ago and are doing just fine.
|
RE: Albino Pic!!!!!!!!
Wow, that is a cool animal!

RE: Albino Pic!!!!!!!!
In Oklahoma it is illegal to shoot a white deer. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think a white deer and an albino deer are different. Like I said, I could be wrong, I just heard this somewhere. In the regs it says nothing about an albino or piebald deer being illegal to shoot, it just says white deer. I think they should clarify more on what they mean by this.

RE: Albino Pic!!!!!!!!
i live in Iowa and was wondering if it is leagle to shoot an albino deer. Can anyone help me with this.
|
RE: Albino Pic!!!!!!!!
i think in IL its illegal to kill them . i sure would like to see one in the woods though it would be pretty neat
|
RE: Albino Pic!!!!!!!!
What is a pibald?
|
RE: Albino Pic!!!!!!!!
I piebald is a half white/half brown deer. Some may be almost entirely brown with little white spots and others may be white with a few small brown spots. I have 2 different piebalds on video and they are pretty neat to see. They are more common than albinos, but still rare!

Nice pic, I have been hunting for about 30 years here in Tx. and have never seen one either. Does anyone know if they are more common in any particular part of the country?
