RE: Your opinion on the easiest killed deer in the woods.
ORIGINAL: buckeyebuckhntr 3 bucks 401 inches. Didn't think I was gonna say that did ya:D So I guess we are equal hunters after all ;) |
RE: Your opinion on the easiest killed deer in the woods.
Why did you point out that I shot it with a gun then?........there is no other reason then to try and lesson his status because in your mind if it wasn't taken with a bow it means less. Here is something for ya. I have taken over 400 inches of antlers in the last 3 years. How about you?? |
RE: Your opinion on the easiest killed deer in the woods.
ORIGINAL: buckeyebuckhntr Because this is the BOWHUNTING forum. Not the atlas shotgun forum. Also I thought you only ever scored 1 of your bucks????????:D |
RE: Your opinion on the easiest killed deer in the woods.
Like my dad always told me, "Never get into a pi$$ing contest with a skunk."
Here's a thought, since this has become an obvious one-on-one argument, why don't you guys just send emails back and forth to each other. That way you can tell each other what you really think and you don't have to censor your thoughts. I can speak for myself and maybe others on this board when I say grow up. [&:] |

Jimbo.
I don't want to call Atlas anything. I actually like Atlas and bowfanatic. Just becuase we may not see eye to eye on a few things don't mean anything about him as a person or sportsman. I believe atlas is probably one of the most honest game law abiding members on the board. And I give him alot of respect for that. I enjoy a good debate and atlas and bowfanatic do as well. So it would seem anyhow. Once again I have nothing against either one of them. I am sure they are fine individuals and great sportsman. |

I never said who the skunk was! LOL (just kidding!)

I guess people see different things when they read their screens. I have ABSOLUTELY nothing against Buckeye or any other hunter on these boards that hunts legally and ethically. Just because 2 people don't agree on something doesn't mean they personally dislike each other Jimbo. I have no reason to send Buckeye any private messages because I have no censored comments for him........he is cool in my book and welcome around my campfire any day. Why do people assume disagreement=dislike?? |
RE: Your opinion on the easiest killed deer in the woods.
No matter whom you were referring to as the skunk I wanted my position known as what my honest opinion was of atlas and bowfanatic as well.

RE: Your opinion on the easiest killed deer in the woods.
Bowfanatic, I'm not trying to be anal here, but the true definition of a yearling is a deer between 1 and 2 years old. Fawns are fawns, yearlings are yearlings: deer between 1 and 2 years old. Is it really important (?), I don't know, but if you are talking about QDM, deer management or anything else to do with deer and deer hunting, it helps to use the proper terms to accurately identify deer. That way, when someone says yearling, we know what age you are talking about. It also gives you more credibility to know what you are talking about when throwing around terms. Please don't take this the wrong way, it's not a slam, and I'm not picking on you or anyone else, but there is a true definition of yearling, it's not a matter of regional terminology like the 4 point vs. 8 point example. Does it take away from my credibility when I call a button buck a yearling? Not around here pal! Think about it ...a yearling? A deer in it's first year of life. I really dont care what anyone calls them wherever your from , makes no difference , but dont tell me it's not a regional thing.;) Is anyone still trying to say a 1 1/2 year old buck is easier to kill than a button buck? |
