Once again shoot what ever you want. A Nub, 4 point, 30 point whatever shoot what makes you happy.

This from the same guy that just insulted me for shooting a buck with a gun and made fun of the racks I posted in the taxidermy forum because they aren't all mature bucks.

Please quote my insult. I would like to see it.

RE: Your opinion on the easiest killed deer in the woods.

The most naive deer in the woods is the nub buck (the true yearling). The 1 1/2 year old is not a yearling!
Bowfanatic, I'm not trying to be anal here, but the true definition of a yearling is a deer between 1 and 2 years old. Fawns are fawns, yearlings are yearlings: deer between 1 and 2 years old. Is it really important (?), I don't know, but if you are talking about QDM, deer management or anything else to do with deer and deer hunting, it helps to use the proper terms to accurately identify deer. That way, when someone says yearling, we know what age you are talking about.

It also gives you more credibility to know what you are talking about when throwing around terms. Please don't take this the wrong way, it's not a slam, and I'm not picking on you or anyone else, but there is a true definition of yearling, it's not a matter of regional terminology like the 4 point vs. 8 point example.

Have a great holiday.

You really can't just read the question.

Once again it states.

I would like to know in your opinion what is the most naive mistake prone animal in the deer herd.

So drop all of your probabilities and read the question at hand.

Also my friend I shot this on public land in Harrison county Ohio.

What did you shoot that with again??? OH YEA a shotgun[&:]

Yea........some magical spell gets cast over them during their second winter as they attend Whitetail University and they suddenly are transformed into an almost unhuntable entity that mere mortals are no match for.

Going by your pics in the Taxidermy forum I guess this is true after all.

That was not an insult. Unless you believe me saying you shot it with a shot gun is an insult????

I don't.........you do. Why else would you say it??

Why did you point out that I shot it with a gun then?........there is no other reason then to try and lesson his status because in your mind if it wasn't taken with a bow it means less.

It is an insult because you are implying that I want to and try to hunt bigger bucks but that is all I can kill so I have to settle for them.

Every deer I have a legal tag for is a "shooter" ;)

Here is something for ya. I have taken over 400 inches of antlers in the last 3 years. How about you??

;)
